General Funds

General Charitable  Provide for operations of CBI. Your gift will go where it is most needed.

Generations Capital Campaign  Provide funding for the Learning Center and other capital projects.

New American  Support ESL classes held at CBI.

Technology  Help us continue and expand our technological resources such as Wifi and livestreaming of services.

Membership Engagment Fund  Supports congregation-wide events such as Celebrate CBI and our Diary of Anne Frank Play outing as well as smaller programs like Shabbark Shalom and Micro-WHTY.

Deborah Library  Help maintain and expand the library collection.

Mental Health and Addiction Support  Funds educational mental health and addiction awareness programs for our community.

Silver Courtyard  Help maintain and provide special plantings in our courtyard.

Cemetery Beautification  Help maintain and provide special plantings in our cemeteries.

Bulletin  Support production and mailing of our bi-monthly bulletin. 

Education and Youth Funds

Religious School Fund  Our religious school depends on generous support to provide accessible and excellent Jewish education. 

Louis Antiput Youth Fund Support our Religious School. 

William and Rebecca Rosenfeld Fund  Support our Religious School. 

WHTY  Provide teen programming for our West Hartford Temple Youth Group. 

Robert Falk Memorial Fund Support our WHTY youth programming.

Leonard Merin Memorial Fund  Support adult education programs.

Music Funds

Music  Support music programming at CBI.

Judith and Harvey Goldstein Music  Provide musical resources for the Religious School and Library.

Ritual Practice Funds

The Lawrence Davidson Family Memorial Torah Cover  Help maintain our Torah covers.

Oneg Fund  Honor a special simcha for recognition at our Simcha Shabbat service.

Prayer Book Fund  Honor special event with a donation to the prayer book fund; we will place a bookplate in the inside cover of the prayer book recognizing your donation.

High Holy Days

High Holy Days Appeal  Support the diverse needs of our community at this very special time of year.

Rosh Hashanah In the Park  Support our annual community-wide outdoor service.

Mitzvah Funds

Caring Committee  Help the Caring Committee provide comfort and joy to members of our community.

Affiliate Groups Funds

Friends of the Library Support the needs of the learning center and archives.

Dr. Robert A. Kramer S.A.G.E.  Provide programming and offset speaker costs for S.A.G.E. - Seniors for Arts, Growth, and Education.

Brotherhood  Support CBI’s men’s group.

Sisterhood  Support CBI’s women’s group.

Adult Education Committee  Help provide guest speakers and other opportunities to enrich lifelong study and spiritual growth.
