Planning a gift for our synagogue is a beautiful way to leave a legacy. We hope that all of our congregants will feel the importance of bestowing a gift to CBI that will help sustain our spiritual home for the future. There are so many ways to make a legacy gift at a level that is meaningful to you. Most legacy gifts do not require any immediate payment:
bequest in your will or family trust,
designating CBI as a beneficiary in your retirement accounts,
a life insurance policy with CBI as a beneficiary.
When you commit to a legacy gift to CBI you will become part of Greater Hartford's Life and Legacy Program, in partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, which promotes after-lifetime giving. I hope that our community will be inspired by philanthropic giving to CBI and will have those conversations about what is meaningful to you, to plant seeds for the future.
